Baton Mail
We offer a complete direct mail service to allow our clients the ease of working with one supplier for their entire campaign while minimising total costs.
The following prices include labels, mailing house charges and postage and are based on your supplying all creative, letterhead paper and brochures. We can supply further quotes for creative and printing if you require. The C4, C5 and DLE sized campaigns are quoted to include a personalised letter (printed in black and white) with brochure inserted into a tropical-seal standard window envelope. You can supply your own window envelopes but these need to be tropical-seal and include a return address to meet NZ Post requirements for bulk mail discounts. Postcard campaigns don’t use letters, brochures or envelopes. We look forward to supplying you with a more comprehensive quote once you have confirmed quantities and the form of your mail piece.

- Base fees relate to these services: import data, standardise data, set-up, lodge with NZ Post.
- Fees per 1000 relate to these services: print label, print letter, fold letter and brochure, insert letter and brochure and sort.
- Total costs quoted include the cost of envelopes for C4, C5 and DLE campaigns.
- Flow-wrapping costs are similar to the cost of using envelopes
- Minimum Charge = rate for 1000 units.
- All postage rates are based on the data and envelope meeting NZ Post Volume Mail Specifications. If you choose to supply your own envelopes these need to be tropical-seal and include a return address. Data needs a NZ Post Statement of Accuracy of 85% or more.
- Prices quoted are estimates based on information provided and are subject to change if specifications vary when job is sighted.
- Prices are based on data to be supplied requiring no additional manipulation (does not apply if you are using AssetBase data).
- All pre printed stock must be delivered to Baton Limited 72 hours prior to processing to allow for conditioning.
- Please supply 110% of all pre-printed stock, envelopes and letterhead to accommodate losses during production.
- Please supply a packing slip with all deliveries showing the number of cartons, product and quantity per carton, all cartons to be clearly marked.
